True Denim Collection is a handcrafted denim brand from Nairobi, Kenya, founded in September 2017. Every piece is designed and made to order in our Nairobi workshop: denim jackets, Sherpa (fur-lined) jackets, jeans, dungarees, boiler suits, dresses, skirts, shorts and bucket hats, plus fully bespoke pieces made to your measurements.

### Bespoke Collection
Original TDC designs reimagining the classic denim jacket — the Type 1 (The Strauss), Type 2 (The Revolt) and Type 3 Trucker — plus original concepts.

• The Milele — KES 20,000 — Women. An original concept design by TDC introduced in June 2022 by our in-house designer.
• The Trucker — KES 20,000 — Women. This design is the most recognizable design also known as the ‘Type 3’ jacket.
• The Waridi — KES 20,000 — Women. We named this jacket Waridi due to the colours we were experimenting with.
• TDC x Levi’s — Concept piece, not for sale — Women. The material used to make this jacket was light Levi’s printed denim material hence the name.
• The Strauss — KES 20,000 — Men. The reason we named this jacket ‘The Strauss’ was because the design was first created in 1880 by Levi Strauss & Co.
• The Revolt — KES 20,000 — Men. The reason we named this jacket ‘The Revolt’ was because the design was created in 1953.
• The Savannah — KES 20,000 — Women. As alluded by the colour, we named this design the Savannah to pay homage to the Savannah grasslands in Kenya.
